In order to assist Pittsburgh Brewing Company in the transformation of their public perception after a new ownership, Näkturnal developed a music-marketing platform to re-establish the brand. The platform, Iron City Sound, consisted of two main components to support Pittsburgh’s thriving music scene: music event sponsorships and the sponsorship of local up and coming musicians, or Sound Ambassadors. Näkturnal’s integration of a Sound Ambassador contest along with efforts in research, communication, event management and production, and promotional services ultimately lead to the success of the Iron City Sound Campaign. Pittsburgh Brewing Company saw an increase in local distribution, an increase in sales for the primary brands, and received over 1.5 million on-site and online impressions over the course of the campaign.
